The Galynker Center offers unique evaluations conducted by our team of specialists to determine a diagnosis and optimal treatment plan. During your intake appointment, your evaluation will be conducted by two clinicians, a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist, working together throughout your 2-hour appointment.

Our dynamic team of clinicians works together to provide tailored treatment to fit the unique needs of each one of our families.

Here at The Galynker Family Center for Bipolar Disorder, our clinicians practice progressive, state-of-the-art forms of psychotherapy that are intensive, patient-centered, and have distinct transformative effects.

Life coaching is an adjunct to our therapeutic service in supporting our patients in various ways. It takes a hands-on approach to clarifying goals, identifying obstacles, and exploring different strategies to assist in day-to-day living. Coaching sessions can take place in person and/or virtually over the duration of your treatment.

Our resident Suicide Specialist Dr. Igor Galynker is a leading expert in Suicidology who has published extensively on the topic of suicide risk assessment. All of our patients are screened for Suicide Crisis Syndrome at intake. Plus Dr. Galynker is also available for Suicide Risk Assessment consultations for new and existing patients on an as-needed clinical basis.
